Opportunity
The US represents
the largest global market for oxygen sensors today. Many of the oxygen
sensors are currently used across all various models for each make of
vehicles.
In the import applications the various vehicle manufacturers change the
design and fit of their sensors. In some cases, it is not worth the cost
for the oxygen sensor manufacturers to produce them. This in turn creates a
demand for the various distributors to find a source for these products.
The major growth areas for oxygen sensors for Year 2000-2005 are China,
Indonesia, and other parts of Asia which are growing rapidly in the vehicle
production arena. With these new facilities opening regularly and price
being an ever growing concern in the manufacturing process there is
excellent opportunity to enter the market using the new manufacturing
facilities to drive the volume so as to create a successful oxygen sensor
company.
